Last updated 18 August 2026. By using RV Highway Atlas you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this site is
A directory of RV road services — dump stations, potable water, propane and overnight parking — assembled from public data sources and from reports submitted by travellers.
It is information, not a guarantee. Facilities close, fees change and equipment breaks. Every figure shows its source and the date it was last confirmed so you can judge it for yourself. Verify anything you are relying on before you drive out of your way.
Contributions
When you submit a report, review, photograph or correction:
- You confirm the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You confirm you own any photograph you upload, or have the right to share it.
- You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, adapt
and distribute it as part of this site and its data.
- Your contribution may be edited, rejected or removed.
- Contributions are moderated before publication. Nothing you send appears
immediately.
Do not submit anything false, defamatory, unlawful, or containing another person's private information. Do not submit photographs of identifiable people without their permission.
Data we collect, share and sell
This section is deliberately blunt, because the rest of this site is about being straight with people.
With your consent, we collect a device fingerprint — characteristics of your browser and device combined into an identifier that recognises you across visits. We use it to attribute contributions, build contributor reputation, and detect abuse.
We may share or sell data, including personal data, to third parties. This may include contribution history, device and browser characteristics, coarse location inferred from network address, and usage patterns.
We will disclose data when legally required — in response to a subpoena, court order, law enforcement request, or other legal process, and to protect our rights, safety, or property.
You can refuse all of this and the site still works. Refusing costs you nothing but contributor reputation. See the [privacy policy](/p/privacy) and [cookie notice](/p/cookies) for the detail, including how to withdraw consent after granting it.
If you are in the EU, UK, California or another jurisdiction granting data rights, those rights apply and are described in the privacy policy. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site at volume, resell access to it, attempt to breach it, or use it to harass anyone. Automated access outside these terms may be blocked.
Data licensing
The data here comes from several sources under different licences, some of which carry share-alike obligations. See [sources and attribution](/p/attribution). Do not assume you can reuse this data; ask.
Liability
The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including a wasted journey to a facility that turned out to be closed, full, or different from what is described here.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Where the law requires fresh consent, we will ask again rather than assume.
